Big news

So the cat is out of the bag... We're moving! We bought a old farm style house. It comes with a nice piece of property with three out buildings. A creek runs right down the properties line, and forest backs up to the end of the third building. The boys are so pumped to move. It's old, but we absolutely love it. Shan has got big plans to restore this cool historical house. I already got the shop up and running and it's already, twice as cool as my last shop. I give a big thanks to our friends and family who are helping us, we could have never done this without our friends and our family. Many thanks!

Luke's twelve!

Lukas, Luke, Lukester, Lukaliptis, Lukas Knut, turned the big twelve. For awhile now we will have two twelve year olds in the house. Luke is definitely having a growth spurt, look how much taller he is over Robbie. We took the boys to the Dallas aquatic center for some swimming fun, opened presents, dinner at Red Robin, and cake and ice cream too. Over his birthday weekend he had a huge Air soft war with friends, neighbors, and family. When the boys get all geared up for a war I think they look like Navy Seals. Go Luke!

Champs!

Yep, Luke's Skyball basketball team went 12-0. Undefeated! And in the Championship final, Luke was high scorer. I admit there was several squeakers along the way, but the Wolves did it. After they won their final regular season game, Blake's dad hired a stretch Limo to drive the team around town. And after the Championship game we went to RedHawk Vineyards and had a great BBQ and awards lunch-in. I even got a Starbucks gift card for being the official Timer/Score Keeper. Yea! The boy's had a ton of fun this go around. Robbie's Skyball team didn't do as well in the win loss column as Luke's team, but we are really proud of him and he never gave up and had some great games too. Stay tuned for the next go-round. Great job guy's! Oh, did you notice I called them guys, instead of boys? Yea all the boys are growing so fast!

JR. Dragracing 2012?

Yep, with some great help form a very special friend we got the JR. Dragster going. Robbie and Luke have been practicing driving it in the cul-da-sac with a practice motor in it. Repeatedly going over all the procedures of a actual run in competition. With the help from a couple of sponsor friends we're going to race a few races this season and hopefully take in a car show or two. Lets go racing!

Shannie's soap

I hope this doesn't get out to the soap police, but Shan has set up, and is operating a laundry soap factory here at the house. She has been mass producing laundry soap with a recipe she bootlegged off the internet. It hasn't turned into a sweatshop yet but she did have Luke mixing chemicals the other day. Halfway through production she breaks out her stash of ribbons and labels and apply s them to her recycled water and milk jugs to transform them into "Shannie's Soap". For every five gallon bucket she creates, it makes ten, one gallon jugs of laundry soap. Shan tells me it only costs about ten bucks to make a bucket, that's a dollar per gallon!!! Wow... Great job Shan. As soon as we get our 1-800 phone number going we will be taking orders world wide!

This is Nick

The Nicksters brought this home from school. It is a super cool poster he made about himself. I like his illustrations with some of his answers. He looks good in a beard, and Jet has that same grin as when he steals pop tarts out of the pantry. Nice job Nicky.

Valentines dinner

So this year instead of taking Shan out for Valentines dinner, the boys made her dinner at home. Robbie barbequed chicken, Parks made mac n cheese, Nick busted out his deep fryer and made home made fries, and Luke put together a yummy salad. It was quite the formal dinner with reserve seating at the table. To top the dinner off Shan wipped up a couple sweet deserts. The dinner was a huge success and I think we are going to be doing this more often. Way to go guys!
