Chris and Codie's Wedding

Chris and Codie got hitched! It was a great wedding. Shan was a bridesmaid, (yea she cried her eye's out), and I was the best man. It was a great summer night at a cool local vineyard. Super fun. Everybody is so happy for those two love birds.

4th of July at Detorit

We had so much fun camping on the water over the fourth of July weekend. The first day it was just Chris, Cody Shan and I. Sleeping on the boat back up into a cove is way cool. And waking up on the water in the morning its absolutely beautiful. Dana and Sue, Dave and Stacy, and the Springer's brought their boats the next day. We had a blast, and got to watch the fireworks show from the water. Super fun weekend.

Garage sale

OMG. We had a ginormous Garage sale last weekend. We prepped for weeks and we had everything from a twenty thousand dollar BMW to the proverbial kitchen sink. And tons of stuff in between. And in the true Jensen Bese fashion, the boys got in on it too. The hot dog stand was a big hit, they even made up meal deals with chips, pop, and candy. Nick also sold home made Popsicles. We sold most of the stuff and donated the rest. Now lets get on with summer vacation!

Shan Graduates

Congratulations to Shannon! Last Wednesday night we attended her graduation at George Fox University. She completed and received her teaching Degree. The boy's were on their best behavior and after a nice dinner, the president of the university and a few other facility members spoke, then the big moment! It was so great to watch her get her diploma!! We were all so very proud of her when she stepped up and got it... All the hours, days, weeks, years came together to fulfill this life time achievement. Yea Shannon!

Last day of school

Its official...The boys are done with school, and on summer vacation. We kicked off the vacation with a party at Orchards Heights park right after school with some of the boy's friends. The boy's played Tennis, Basketball, and played down by the creek. After a old fashion BBQ, we had a big kick Ball game. Then Ice Cream. Later back at the casa, it was time for a basketball, go kart and trampoline sesh.

Nicks Ten

Yep the Nicksters turned Ten. Nick got to celebrate his Birthday over a two week period only because of parenting, and school schedules, but he didn't mind one bit. He actually got two dinners at Red Robin too. On his official Birthday he got to open his presents. Besides Lego's, clothes and toys he got a big surprise... His own Ipod Touch. Happy Birthday Nick!

Memorial day weekend

We had a super four day weekend with the boys and our close family. It was just what the doctor ordered after a week in paradise. It started with the boys planting veggies in the back yard and let the bunny's out with Jet while we were planting. Later we had our favorite pizza, "Walerys". As the weather got better the boys had several "air soft" wars with the neighbors. I hope Home land security doesn't see us, they might think were a Taliban training camp. We finished the weekend off with a big softball game. Super fun weekend!
