R/C cars

We went to the hobby shop to race the boy's R/C cars. They had a blast, we had a few crashes and some broken parts - fun was had by all.

The WORST dog in the whole world....

In the spirit of Marley and Me....I think we have a close second. As you all know we found JET the super dog. He has been a ton of fun....but boy oh boy is he naughty. In this week alone he has gotten on the island (not sure how) and ate Rob's birthday cake....And we have a kitty door in our laundry room (it is about 3 1/2 feet off the ground) that he has figured out how to go in and out of......I told the vet about the cake incident and she said "with a beagle you are lucky he did not eat the plate". Stay tuned for more adventures with JET!!

Scavenger Hunt!

We started off Christmas vacation with a scavenger hunt for the boys. We sent them all around the house, had them make brownies, and take the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood!! The big grand finale was WE ARE GOING TO ALASKA THIS SUMMER!! The boys had so much fun with the scavenger hunt that the next morning they asked to do it again.

Blazer Game

Marty and Kathie invited us to the Blazer game. They were retiring Terry Porter's number that night. By chance we were walking by one of the suites and he signed the boys basketballs. It was a great game and the Blazers Won!

SNOW DAYS!!!

School was cancelled all week. We have had so much snow. The boys have had a blast sledding and making snow men. Rob even had to try out the sled.

He is here to stay!

For those of you who have not heard the story of Jet....here is goes. We were visiting my Mom and we were outside doing yard work. Out of no where comes this cute little puppy. We asked the neighbors, called the sheriff, looked for lost dog signs.....but no owners. So we took him home, half wanting someone to claim him, half hoping no one would. So here we are and no takers for this cute little man. Beware of FREE anything.....we have spent several hundred dollars getting him well. But he is worth it. And he is here to stay!!
