Benny gos to the beach

Benny got his first experience with the beach. It was a beautiful day - warm and nice. Benny swam and played and was happy to just hang with us and not try to run off. That's just not on his radar. Benny is a celeb everywhere he goes with his puppy cuteness. We love him. Benny wasn't the only boy who had a big day and slept on the way home. Meanwhile Jet has been better than ever. He's cool with his new brother.

Lake Billy Chinook

We got our first summer family camping trip in last week. Loaded to capacity was the truck and boat. Four nights at Lake Billy Chinook. It was great. Shan survived her second tube ride. Benny swam, tubed, boated, napped, paddle boarded, and swam to shore to use the banos. HaHa! And Benny was super fantastic at the camp site not having to be tethered. Chris and Cody came with us and it was fun to hang out with little phone service and no internet. Cove Palisades camp ground was a cool place for boys to explore a new place to ride their long boards too.

Benny's first week

Benny had a big first week here. Boating, swimming, sleeping, playing, and meeting the bunnies. He also has his first play date with his brother who by happen chance, lives just a few miles away. They both played hard and and soon they were napping together. Benny also got his first night out on the water in the boat. Detroit fourth of July. He's been doing great with his potty training, and Jet has done just as good too. They play pretty good together. Benny is funny...where he falls asleep is cute, and when he naps he's comatose. When his battery is full he is a ball of fire. My farm shoes have survived several Benny attacks. Still not too coordinated and runs into things and falls over a lot. Benny's seven weeks old now and doing great!

Benny goes boating

In typical Jensen Bese fashion, we took Benny boating right off the bat. He did great. Swam a few times with the boys - with his big boy life jacket on. It was hot, over 90 degrees so we kept him cool and in the shade. Even a few ice cubes on his back while taking a nap. He pretty much slept through Shan's first tube ride of the year. He's laid back. Car, boat, pickup, he is ok with all of it. One small note...The people on the beach said they could hear Shan screaming all the way around the corner of the river. At one point I did not know who was louder me laughing, or her screaming. I didn't buck her off, and nobody lost a eye.
