Night lighting

With the nice weather returning Shan has got our lighting dialed in. It's uses are two two fold. first to look cool at the Jensen Bese camp, second it lights up the stairs and pathway to the office/shop. Nice job Shan!

Parks dig out

Parker had Eric bring over his mini excavator to dig out a level area for the swimming pool. He unloaded it off the trailer drove it over to the spot straddling plants along the way. He dug it out and also demolished the old fire pit and leveled out that area. Were going to install a new fire pit back by the 3rd building. Parks did a great job and we are one load of sand away from getting the pool up for summer. Great job Parks!

High schooler

So the Jensen Bese camp has its first high school student. Yep, Robbie graduated from Leslie middle school, and is going to be a freshman this fall at South Salem high school. Where does the time go? Congratulations to Luke, Nick, and Parks too as summer vacation is in full swing.

Bambi and her mom

I clicked these pictures off the other day. I walked into the kitchen and they they were. Usually they hang out down by the creek but this day they were up by the house. The little baby is so cute, and the mom was very watchful over her and I was very watchful of our garden.

Luke's track meets

We weren't surprised when Luke said he wanted to go out for track and field and he wanted run the hurdles and do the long jump. Not surprised because his growth spurt, has given him some long legs, perfect for track. He worked very hard in practice and really had a break through on figuring out his stride and steps in the 110 meter hurtles. Now the suprise came when he ran in the all city meet and had the fastest seven grade time in the hurtles. All the hard work paid off for him. Being the fastest in his grade earned him a invitation to run in the regional race "Meet of Champions" in Corvallas. He got seventh. What a great first year for Luke, can't hardly wait till next season
