Eagle Crest vacation

It's Spring break and the boys are out of school for almost two weeks. Last Sunday we went to Eagle Crest resort for part of their vacation. On the way up we stopped and played in the snow. When we got there we unleashed the boys and turned them loose to take in all of what the resort has to offer. Bike riding, long boarding, swimming, hot tubing, golfing, arcade gaming, videos, up late, sauna, tennis, relaxing, exploring, deer watching, and one giant game of family pool is what was on tap. Shan did a excellent job with the food, and all our meals were a ten. The weather was good and you know you had a great time when come back home dog tired. Again, again!

Shananigans

Shan has had a not so good allergy season this year. On this day she had to bring out the big guns, forget what it looks like, she had to get the frozen mask on her eyes...Auhhh .... we were all laughing. The mask helped with the swelling for sure. You never know what she's is up to...but she can put a smile on your face in a heart beat, and make the best out of almost any situation. That's what I call... Shananigans

Our Anniversary

On March eighth, two thousand and eight Shan and I blended our family in front of our family and friends. Fast forward to today, five years later we are stronger as a family then ever. Shan had school at Southern Oregon so it was a road trip to Ashland to cerebrate our anniversary we splurged and rented a very cool cottage in Ashland. Shan and I have stayed in a lot of motels over the years but this one is right up there with the very best. Beautiful hardwood floors, tile, big flat screen TV, fireplace, formal dinning room table, is expected, but the attention to detail is over the top. Fresh cut flowers, day bead, custom mirrors, and in the bathroom there was A Tommy Bahamma's sewing kit with different color thread already threaded threw the needle. This had a feel not of a motel, but more like a touch of home. Friday night we went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant in Ashland, Omar's. Later it was back to our really cool cottage for some very good one on one time. Happy Anniversary Shan!

Luke's thirteen

Yep, it's official... Lukas is a teenager. That makes two teenage boys in our camp. We gave him a I phone for his big birthday present. Reward the good. Luke has been doing so well in school and sports we wanted him to have one. Luke loves it too. He also got cards, money, more presents, and birthday dinner at his favorite restaurant, Red Robin. He is very Thankful to all his family and friends for his gifts and well wishes. Humble is that old man!

Park's cake pops

So Park's culinary masterpiece revivals Any dessert ever made by a human on this planet. His Cake Pops ROCK! Day one, Shan helped Parks make the cake balls. Day two, they frosted them. Day three, Parks dipped them in chocolate and froze them. They are so good, almost dangerous. Again Parks! Again!
