Im fifty three

Thanks to all of my family and friends for another great birthday. opening presents and out to dinner with the family was super

nice. And drinks and party with the gang is always fun too. I pulled Robbie out of school a little early and we went to lime berry for a treat. Parks also wrote me a letter that really touched my heart. Thanks everybody for everything!

San Diego cool bar

While walking along the boardwalk on the beach Shan, Dana, Sue, and I found this really cool bar. We stopped and had a beer and watched some people surf. I wished I had brought my swim gear, because I would have hit it for sure. That machine put out the perfect wave curl. lets go again! again! San Diego

So the day after all the boys went back to their other parents Shan,Dana,Sue and I took a week vacation to San Diego. It was so much fun and there was so much to do. Shamu was a must for sure and what a great show it was. Since we have never been there before it made it all the more fun to discover things. While walking along the beach we found this really cool bar that you can surf at. Too bad I didn't take my swim stuff because I would have had to try it. We all risked our lives on the wooden roller coaster that is right on the beach. "What a ride". We visited several different districts in the city and took in some of the best San Diego has to offer. Old town was really cool and Shan found a Target store with two levels that had everything from groceries to alcohol to sporting goods. New years eve we went to the Double Deuce, a country western bar, and yes I had to ride the bull. Super fun trip. Lets go Again! Again!!!

Christmas vacation

The boys had a great Christmas vacation. It started off with Shan and the boys making 26 grab bags for the 26 victims of the Sandy hook school masacure, and gave them out to the homeless. The boys also got treated to the Clackamas water park to swim and rock climb and the Family Fun center (thanks Groupon). Christmas Eve day was spent at my mom's house for gift exchange and lunch and bingo and dinner at Shan's mom's house. Then Christmas... Santa brought a Xbox and a flat screen for the boys and lots of other cool stuff. A great Christmas for all.
