The new sign

Big thanks to Heather for making our really cool new sign for our little farm house. Hand painted, totally custom its way cool. Also want to thank our close friends Brett and Tracy for getting it for us. It looks perfect next to the front door. Thank You!

Jet....Really???

Got up the other morning to find Jet had been busy rifling through Shan's purse. He had completely emptied everything out of her purse and had it all laid out as if it was a

airport security check. Whats even crazier is he did not chew up anything, nothing. Jet... Really???

Easter came early?

We know where those eggs came from and we can rule out the Easter bunny and Norman and Chewy. We just don't know which chicken laid them or why they laid them in the goats house and not the chicken coop. Because they are different colors we know it was several different chickens laying them. The black brick next to them is the kids salt block. And we got our first white egg, well it was almost white, super light brown.

Shan's Birthday weekend

Shan started off her birthday weekend with a great day on the boat with her close friends. The weather was perfect and the water was very inviting. After we pulled off the water we all went out to a nice dinner. Sunday we got the boys back and had a small party with Shan getting to open her presents and some cake. Then we went to the Sublimity Harvest Festival. The boys played in giant bubble balls on top of water, it was really funny to see them motoring around the pool. Tractor pulling was cool but the best was the Monster trucks. Happy Birthday Shan!

HGTV magazine

Back to school

The boys and Shan are back in school. Robbie is in eighth, Luke is in seventh, Nick is in sixth his first year in middle school and parks in third grade. Shan is working back at Kalapuya. Looking back at summer it was a great one, with lots of good memories. Welcome back reality

Nike day

With back to school looming, and back to school shopping on the to do list we were really happy when Uncle John offered us passes to the Nike Employee Store. It's a Nike store outlet on steroids, with most goods half off. Plus most of the merchandise you get there isn't in retail stores. All the boys got new shoes, shirts, socks, sweats, or jackets. We

fit all our loot in the car. We got a very special treat also thanks to our friend Marcus. He took time to tour us thru the Nike campus. We had no idea how ginormous it was, and the historic artifacts placed through out the campus. Way too many items to list but our favorites were the Micheal Jordan building, with one of every pair of Air Jordan's made, all his trading cards, signed jerseys, just a ton of stuff. Another was all the Olympic historical items. What a day it was with Robbie tackling a life size NFL player, to Ben Johnson's Olympic gold shoes, to indoor basketball courts, Astro turf football/soccer fields to tennis courts, this campus is the proverbial BOMB! None of us we ever forget this experience. To top it all off, Brianne and Marcus took us out to lunch to Five Guys.
