The Bite
We loaded up the car and headed to the Bite of Salem. Had great fair food for dinner and tested out a few carnival rides. The boys won prizes playing games and the weather was perfect.
Hoopla twenty twelve
Once again the city of Salem shut down some downtown streets and erected a ton of basketball hoops for the Hoopla three on three street basketball tournament. Robbie's team, "The Throw backs" and Luke's team "Hot Ballerz", played their hearts out. Street ball is pretty rough and the refs don't call very many fouls, but the boys seem to love it.

Park's Wedding
HaHa, no Parker didn't get married but he was the JR. Groomsman for Marcus and Brianne's Wedding. He did great. It was a fantastic wedding with the weather nice and warm for their outdoor ceremony. The wedding was at a very old but restored farm. A perfect setting for a fantastic wedding. The food, drinks, dancing, hay ride, and fun photo booth were all stellar, for a wedding to remember. And who else to get the garter from the bride? Yep, the Nickers!

Jets country life
You can say Jet has transformed himself from his urban life style to the slower country living. When he's not eating he's sleeping. Sometimes almost all day if we let him. And lately he's gotten into watching TV. He seems to have it bad for the bachelorette. Jet still gets into the garbage every chance he gets, and howls at the deer when he smells them in the early morning hours. He got to go camping with us last weekend and he was a very good boy. He still loves a good boat ride too. Auhhh... Life is good if your the Jetsters.
Deer swimming?
Yep, that's a Deer swimming across Lake Billy Chinook. We had just dumped the boat in the water and headed out of the no wake zone when we spotted this Doe. I did't believe a hoofed animal could swim. We kept a safe distance not to scare her and watched as she paddled her way to shore at the day use area. She jumped out of the water and made her way into the wilderness. Now that's not something you see every day.

Pizza dinner
We finally broke in our new pizza oven last night. It works excellent and the pizza's were great. What a great way to have a family meal. The beauty of it is you make your own pizza with your favorite
toppings. Shan grilled up some onions and mushrooms for us, and we added sauce, sausage, cheese, and some peperoni. Luke stepped in and was the master chef and did all the cooking. Super nice job Luke. For dessert we all rolled out some dough and added cinnamon with some sugar and butter and cooked them in the pizza oven....Heaven!
