Parker's Christmas list
So since I've known Parker he has had a great smile with perfect teeth, and lots of them. While the other boys have been loosing teeth and getting surprises from the tooth fairy, Parker has held on to almost all of his....until lately! He started losing them kind of in a hurry, finally losing a front tooth, then the other. OK, now his smile is perfect! Ahhh.... super cute. Parker's Christmas list -- his 2 front teeth!
She's a beauty!
We had a super big surprise for Nick and the boy's when they came home from school last Friday. The look on Nick's face was priceless. Nick and the boys got a upgrade in the scooter department. Nick's electric scooter broke twice both only weeks after buying it, and returning it for another. So Shan shopped online to find a gas power scooter. We got a beauty. Got it off craig's list. The guy we bought it from was super nice, and took good care of our new toy. At day three the boy's know how to start it, clean it, and mix the gas. Even Parker gets after it. Go boys!!!

The last week of football
The end of the 2010 football season is almost here. Saturday Robbie's team, the Cowboys play the Patriots in the Coho bowl. Luke's team the Buccaneers play the Bears in the Capitol bowl. Both teams get to play on astro turf fields and it looks to be an exciting finish to the season. I have to say both teams coaches have really done a great job bringing all the kids together. Robbie's coach took all the Cowboys in their game jerseys to a Friday night high school football game. They got to hang out on the side lines and go into the locker room at half time. Luke's coach took the Buccaneers to a West Salem High school football game for a pizza feed and pregame walk through. Robbie and I got to go and it was fun. Luke's team is also having a team breakfast before their bowl game. Nice job coaches!!!

Halloween party
In Jensen-Bese camp tradition, we threw an old fashioned Halloween party. We started off with a flag football game... Dana and Sue, Issac and Chris and Ryan, and Eric the boy's friend were here to join in the fun. After the game there was some serious pumpkin carving, with jack o lanterns being sculpted by the hands of little artists at our dining room table. Next Shan threw down a spaghetti feed that was the bomb. Yummy Yummy! Then it was time for the pinata. All the boys got many turns swinging at it, even Shan and I took a turn. When it broke open it was a free for all as the boys harvested the candy from the ground. We also bobbed for apples and ate donuts on a string. Super fun party, happy Halloween every body!

Parker plays soccer
We are a little more than half way through the 2010 Keizer soccer season, Parker has been playing great. Parker plays for "Toffee", a perfect name for those sweet little boys. He plays forward and goalie, and he gets in there and really plays hard. It is really fun to watch and Parker is having fun playing. They don't keep score and the field is a lot smaller and that makes for some really fun games. Go Parks!!!

Bauman's farm day
We did our annual migration to Bauman farms for a super fun day with the boys. Every year they add more stuff and every year is better then the last one. And this year was no different. We had all the boys; Christan, Eric, Benjamin, Noah - all the boy's buddy's. It was a perfect October day and we had an absolute blast. Here is the recap... We started off with watching a crane lift two ginormous pumpkins up six stories and drop them onto a car and then into a pool. Way cool. The go carts was the first ride we went on and then we took some funny pictures. They have farm animals there and we got to pet and feed them, super cute goats. And they have a huge blow up crazy obstacle course that the boys went on over and over. They have a four lane zip line that is family friendly for all ages, all the boys loved it. Next was my favorite - the apple sling shot and co2 apple cannon gun. Its so much fun. They have two huge targets to shoot at and it stinkin fun. We stopped and recharged our batteries with curly fries and apple cider before letting the boys loose in the dark corn maze. We brought flash lights for the boys because it is the real deal. It took them almost a half hour to find their way through. The last thing we did was a old fashioned tractor trailer ride to the pumpkin patch for the boys to pick out their pumpkins to carve.

Don't try this at home!
I laugh now, but not then....This is your classic wake board wreck. Probably the last ride of the season, wanted it to be epic, and darn it it was. I dock started and was riding great, hittin my tricks bigger than usual. The boat was going twenty one mph, Shan was driving and I pulled out to the side and carved hard back at the wake, (harder then ever), I was going to get some big air, and actually I look good until I landed. These images are from the video Robbie shot. They are not very good, but funny to look at. Unfortunately when I landed I face planted. Fell off the front. I hit so hard it dislodged my board from my feet, normally it would take a lot of effort to get your feet out of your laced up bindings, I knocked out both contacts, and it rang my bell like it was high noon. In the video it happens so fast that you hardly see it, but you can hear everyone in the boat moaning, and groaning when I face planted. I'm fine now, and Chris and I wake skated later after the crash. The next day - this is only what hurt on my body.... jaw, neck, back, (upper and lower), eyes, fingers, toes, nose, mouth, stomach, all internal organs, shoulders, arms, knees, feet, left elbow, right ear, right and left pinky's, left arm pit, hind legs, all of my skin, pride and my aching glutinous maximus.
