Frequent flier miles

While hitting it down at the boat club last week, Kyle(an OSU student we have gotten to know this summer) was down there too, riding with his dad and a friend. I got to pull him, I say got to, because he's really fun to watch and he catches huge air.

Kyle loves riding behind our boat because it puts out a larger wake and the tower is higher than his dads boat. The wake is a huge ramp to project you into the air. Kyle rode for a long time and rode really good...until..... Crash!!! It was a bad wreck and tore some skin right off his hand. Yes the blisters are from that too. Ouch! We got him back up on land and he got fixed up. He will be back out in no time racking up more frequent flier miles.

More boat club fun

Our friends, Dana & Sue & Bret and Tracy and their five girls, joined us at the boat club for a great day at the river. We all soaked up some sun before starting the water sports. It was a great day, sunny and eighty. Chris and I wake boarded and got to dock start off the new dock there. Chris face planted and it was so funny. It probably was my bad taking off too fast. Tube rides were in full swing with them all catching some air, and some got bucked off too. We took a break, then it was a classic surf sess. Bret did a great job picking it up right off the bat. He's a surfer for sure, two of his girls did too. Tracy got the knee board out and had fun riding it. When we got back to shore it was BBQ steak and chicken, and a fire in the the fire pit. Super fun day!

Back to school

It is back to school for the Jensen/Bese boys. The boys look so grown up with their hair cuts and new clothes. I really like the boy's new shoes too. Robbie is starting Jr high school-sixth grade, Luke is in fifth, Nicksters is in fourth, and Parks is in first. They all had a great first day of school, and the butterflies in their tummy's have came and gone.

Happy birthday Shannie!!!

Today is Shan's birthday. Happy birthday Shan! She's having a great day, most all of family and friends have reached out to her. Shan also got bonus time with her baby's after school. All the boys are doing great in school, and giving their mom extra love today. Unfortunately its short lived for today because Shan has school from six to ten tonight.

The Fair

With the boy's summer coming to an end and back to school looms, we made our annual migration to the state fair. We started off taking the tram all the way across the fair. Seeing the fair from the air is way cool. Once we landed we checked out all the animals and reptiles, then we took an ice cream/curly fry break. After that we headed over to the newest addition to the fair, that featured skate boarding, BMX bike racing, go cart rides, monster truck rides and all the boys got to fish. Then it was time for games. The boys tried to ride a crazy bike, threw darts, blew up balloons with water, and more. Then they got all tatted up with some air brush tattoos. We were starving so it was time for dinner, yea fair food! After eating, all that was left was the rides. The giant slide was the first ride, a classic at the fair and the first one the boys took. Robbie and Luke talked me into going on the "Inverter", oh boy! What a ride. We rode some more rides and headed home with all our winnings. We all voted "best fair for us ever". Super fun.
