Shan's early Birthday present
Shan took the boys to the RC track, that is where they can drive their "remote control cars", and they had a new bike that was pink there. She fell in love with it and Jan bought it for Shan for her birthday. It is a great bike its brand new made to look old school. It is comfy to ride because you sit upright, and it is a sleek six speed. And the color... is perfect for Shan.

Football Jamboree
This last Saturday Luke and Robbie had their first football games. There were twenty teams playing in the jamboree and each team got to play two different teams. In each game, both teams got ten minuets on offense and ten minutes on defense. They played at Willamette University at their stadium. They divided the field in half, so two games were going at a time. The butterflies were flying in the boy's tummy's, especially playing for the first time in a stadium on astro turf. Luke is number eighty one, he played offensive tight end and slot receiver and on defense he plays outside linebacker and defensive end. Robbie is number eighty nine, he played wide and slot receiver, and on defense he plays corner back. They both played excellent, and it was a ton of fun to watch. Go Cowboys and Buccaneers!!!

Prineville camp trip
We went camping at Prineville reservoir last weekend with Chris & Cody, Dana & Sue and some of their friends, and Jen our friend. The weather wasn't that great and windy too, but we made the best of it and had fun. There was a few surf and tube sessions, and swimming too. Dana brought his boat and we tied up and hung out on the reservoir. Back at camp the chipmunks were cute and friendly, as long as you feed them. Sunday we headed back and stopped at Suttle lake. We wanted to boat there but it was too windy, so we sat in the boat on the trailer and had lunch. Where is our summer weather?

Football season
Yep, Robbie and Lukas have started football. Robbie is playing for the Cowboys and Luke is playing for the Buccaneers. Both are doing great and they are super fun to watch. They have their first scrimmage game in two weeks. It has been hot and they have worked so hard and we are all very proud of them.

Boat club fun
We took our boy's friends Benjamin, Noah and Reid to the boat club for some good old fashioned tube rides and lots of swimming. It was hot over ninety degrees and the water was perfect. We took a break and chowed down some pizza and then we were back out on the water. As the summer whines down and back to school looms, the boys got every ounce of fun out of this day.

Surfs up for Jet
Finally Jet got to hit the surf board for the first time this summer. He's been a stinker so he hasn't got to go boating, but yesterday was bitter sweet, because he was the only one who got to ride because it was too windy. Ninety plus degrees, hot! Detroit lake looked like the ocean. So we cruised up an arm and found a great spot to anchor out and swim. Dana and Sue brought their boat and the Springer camp did too. We tied our boats together and spent the whole day there. Super fun and Jet is running a little slower today.
