Hawaii video
OK, well hit the play button at the bottom left of the black box and watch my very first video. Shan bought me a "flip", its a HD camcorder, for our anniversary. It takes you to our vacation in Kauai, were we went through a cool tree tunnel, and had a blast wake boarding, and hanging out on the beach everyday. The monk seal was fun to watch, and friendly. On Sunday a huge group of locals came down to the beach and some of them were baptised. The locals were at the beach hitting it every day either surfing, or boogie boarding. Sorry some of the videos are a little shaky, Shan gave me the camera on our first day there and we just started using it without reading directions. It was funny because for a few days we didn't even know how to turn it off, just kept pressing buttons till it turned off. The videos will get better, hope you like the video. Mahalo.

Welcome M & M
The Jensen/Bese camp is happy to announce the arrival of "M & M", Luke's newest pet and one more addition to our zoo. Actually PJ died, luke's snake, in his sleep awhile ago and Luke took it pretty hard. PJ's home has been vacant long enough and the healing is done, he was ready to get another pet to put in his glass enclosure. M & M is a super cute female mouse, and everybody has taken to her for her cuteness. Her enclosure is like the Hyatt, with a heat lamp, a treadmill and a two story bedroom, all on top of green hay. All she needs is a lawn chair and some sun screen. M & M even has one of those round balls that she gets into and rolls around on the floor. Super cute. Welcome M & M.

Aloha!
We're back! Shan and I spent spring break in Hawaii, we put our feet up, and toes in the sand for a very relaxing vacation. Shan really needed a little break from her, "bazillion mph life", and me too. We hit Poipu beach the first day it is our favorite beach and we were hugely excited to start our stay in paradise. We laid out our beach towel, sat down, fired up the tunes and cracked two beers - then a sea turtle came to shore right in front of where we were. A way cool way to start out stay. Myles our friend that lives in Kauai cooked up a nice dinner for us and some friends right there at the beach. Black cod and rice it was very nice. We went wake boarding again on the Wailua river and Shan just killed it. I love the picture of her "cuffing up"- riding with your hands behind your back you can see she's almost got it. And she did. A great vacation, and thanks to Chris for watching the zoo and casa, and Codie for watching my business, and Roy & Kathy, for making this happen for Shan and I.

New house update
The plumbers have been busy installing rain drains, sewer, and water. Digging a huge hole to find the sewer line to tap into is what they did today, only going by the spray paint mark the locate people sprayed on the side walk. Digging trenches, and pushing a lot of dirt around, that is whats been happening here. Tomorrow they have called for morning inspection, then they are going do the back fill, and dig out the driveway, gravel and compact. Mean while Chris has been at Shan's remodels and other projects. Have a great spring break everybody, next up date after the break.

After school we let Luke pick out one present to open, because were having a party for him Saturday, with his Buddy's. Just happens he picked his big present, an Ipod touch. After we played with it for a while, we all went to Cold Stone for ice cream. He's excited for his party Saturday, and happy birthday Luke.

Trusses flying
Today they delivered the trusses and Chris and the boys were ready it was a cold and very windy day, but with a crane they got the truck unloaded and all the heavy trusses set. At one point we saw the wind pick up a sheet of plywood and slam it down, so you can see how fun it would be lifting trusses from the trailer spin then around and lift them to the second story. Even with the trusses flying in the air, and on a very frigid day they got it done. Shan's house is starting to take shape. great job guys!!!

Two years ago to the day, Shan and I blended our family's. Ever since we have grown closer and closer, taking on everything life can throw at us, only to find out we are a very strong family, with love being stronger than any situation. It has been a wonderful two years, and all the baby's have jelled as brothers. Shan and I are blessed to have such a great life together, and a family that lives life to is fullest with no regrets. Yes today is our anniversary, and well worth celebrating, but more than that, its another day together as a family.

First floor framed
After a few days off while insulation and plumbers did their rough in's, Chris and the boys framed up the first floor. They actually let me help them, and it is fun, and a great way to get your cardio. It just doesn't seam like work to me, and I'm learning a lot. Yesterday we set the garage header. Oh my God! It was sooooo heavy. Just getting it from the lumber package to garage was an undertaking. But without any bafoonage, we got it in place, and used jacks to lift it into place. We're getting truss's Tuesday morning, and thank God they are bring a crane...
