Spring Break 2009

We went to Yachats for spring break! We found a great house on VRBO, it was right on the beach, really cute inside, had a hot tub, it was really perfect. The best house we have rented so far!! We had a great time at the coast. We watched for whales, hiked up to a old light house, went to the sea lion caves, went out for ice cream, went fishing, found cool critters in the tide pools and played on the beach!! It was the perfect trip!

Luke is 9!!!

My sweet little baby boy turned 9 years old....How is that possible?? It seemed like we had a week long celebration, family party, school party, birthday breakfast and then his sleep over! He wanted to have a sleep over with movie theme. The boys had a really great time.

Chocolate Cake

We took the boys to a restaurant in Portland and they had a chocolate cake that was 6 layers high. Nick wanted to try and make one at home. We made it 4 layers and it was very unstable....but tasted really good. Great idea Nick.

Karate

Nick and Parker were "given" a free month of Karate - it was really cute....
