Scavenger Hunt!

We started off Christmas vacation with a scavenger hunt for the boys. We sent them all around the house, had them make brownies, and take the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood!! The big grand finale was WE ARE GOING TO ALASKA THIS SUMMER!! The boys had so much fun with the scavenger hunt that the next morning they asked to do it again.

Blazer Game

Marty and Kathie invited us to the Blazer game. They were retiring Terry Porter's number that night. By chance we were walking by one of the suites and he signed the boys basketballs. It was a great game and the Blazers Won!

SNOW DAYS!!!

School was cancelled all week. We have had so much snow. The boys have had a blast sledding and making snow men. Rob even had to try out the sled.

He is here to stay!

For those of you who have not heard the story of Jet....here is goes. We were visiting my Mom and we were outside doing yard work. Out of no where comes this cute little puppy. We asked the neighbors, called the sheriff, looked for lost dog signs.....but no owners. So we took him home, half wanting someone to claim him, half hoping no one would. So here we are and no takers for this cute little man. Beware of FREE anything.....we have spent several hundred dollars getting him well. But he is worth it. And he is here to stay!!

Outside Lights!

My husband is the best!! He put up our outside Christmas Lights and they look amazing. The boys helped with the low stuff but Rob got up on the roof and did all the high peaks. We are so in the Christmas spirit!

We HAD to put lights on the boat!!

We are SO into Christmas this year we even decorated our boat with lights. It looks so cool.

The Tree

Christmas Tree!!

We went to a Christmas Tree farm today and cut down our tree. Luke and Robbie did all the sawing!! These boys are getting so big...how does that happen? We got it home and set it up. Luke put the lights on the tree and all the boys helped decorate it. Our house is feeling a lot like Christmas.

Parker's Birthday

Parker wanted to go to Build-a-Bear for his birthday. He had a great time building his panda bear "Bamboo". All the boys have been really into taking care of their babies....super sweet!!

Parker is 5!!! How did that Happen?

My little baby boy is 5! He had a great birthday...photo's to come soon.

We Love PAPA

My Dad came down to visit last week. The boys had such a great time with Papa. I am so lucky to have a Dad as great as mine. Love you Dad!!

NHRA Drags in Vegas

Went to THE STRIP...That is what the drag strip is called in Vegas. It was the big boys 300 plus mile an hour. Rob got his Nitro fix. The racing was close, shook the bleachers, rumbled the stadium and was awesome to watch. It was cool because it was the second to last race of the year and they crowned new champs.

Vegas Baby

We went to Vegas for Halloween. We went to the Playboy club at the Palms....I was hoping to see The Girls Next Door...but no such luck. Had a great time.

The Grown up Halloween Party

Rob, Chris and I went to a Halloween Party. We went in costumes - Rob and Chris were Gangsters from the 20's and I was a Flapper. We won first prize...HAHAHA

Pumpkin Party

We had a early Pumpkin Party. Isaac & Chris & Ryan joined us. We carved pumpkins, bobbed for apples and ate donuts from a string. It was a great night. The boys had so much fun being silly.

Shan's personal note...

Just a note to say I am so excited about two things:
1. MY MOM IS WALKING WITH OUT HER WALKER!! After about 8 weeks of her being in A LOT of pain, she is doing so much better. WAY TO GO MOM!!
2. My Dad is coming down for a visit....I get to see him about twice a year and it is just not enough. The boys are so excited to see PAPA and ask everyday....when is Papa coming?? I can't wait to spend some time with my great Dad.

Nick's R/C Car

Nick is so excited to have a REAL R/C car. He earned it by making his bed everyday (without having to ask)and not complaining about going to school or doing his homework. He is such a grown up little man. We are so proud of him.

Dinner with friends

We had a great BBQ with our friends Marty, Kathie, Jamison, Alli, Chris and all our boys. Rob and Marty thought it would be a good idea to start the car in the middle of the night:)....luckily no cops were around.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the boys to our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch. We love Bauman Farms - each year they add new stuff. This year was a pirate ship made out of hay bales. The boys had a great time and we had GREAT weather...you never know this time of year what you are going to get. We got sunny and 70 degrees.
